Wyoming annual report filing workflow

Official Wyoming annual report workflow for active business entities, including online filing and mail-in options.

Who must file: Active Wyoming business entities that must file an annual report to remain in good standing.

Practical overview

Wyoming uses an anniversary-month annual report system instead of a single statewide deadline. That makes the compliance burden light, but it also means owners who assume every state uses a fixed May or June deadline can miss the filing entirely.

Practical steps

  • Look up the entity's initial filing date and determine the anniversary month.
  • Prepare the annual report for filing on or before the first day of that anniversary month.
  • Pay the license tax, which is generally $60 or $0.0002 of Wyoming assets, whichever is greater.
  • File online through the Wyoming wizard or print and mail the report if preferred.

Due-date notes

Annual report due date for most Wyoming entities.

Timing: First day of the anniversary month of formation

Penalty snapshot

The entity becomes delinquent on the second day of the month after the due date and can be administratively dissolved if the annual report is not filed within 60 days after the due date.
